Messi does in twice!!!!!!

Lionel Messi scored twice as Barcelona moved back to the top of La Liga with a resounding 4-1 victory at Racing Santander. Pep Guardiola's side stormed into a three-goal lead during a devastating spell midway through the first half.

Summer signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic opened the scoring after 20 minutes, and has now struck in all of Barça's four league games this season. Messi added a second goal four minutes later, before Gerard Piqué made it 3-0 with less than half an hour gone.

Messi completed his double with a stunning strike from the edge of the area just after the hour. Oscar Serrano then pulled a goal back for Racing with a fine solo effort.

Sevilla, meanwhile, moved into the top four following a 2-0 win at home to Mallorca. Sébastien Squillaci gave Sevilla the lead after 17 minutes and summer signing Diego Perotti added a second halfway through the first half to leave the home side in complete control.
