LG Voyager vs Apple I-Phone

Here's another I-phone killer which certainly promises more features than its other counterpart killers. LG is not known much for its cell phones but its recent products are certainly going to make people curious. As it is, Apple-haters which includes me are always looking for alternatives which will make them happier.

WHY LG VOYAGER IS BETTER THAN APPLE I-PHONE

Price: LG Voyager is only $299 with 2 year contract with Verizon, versus $399 or $499 for Apple iPhone.

Display: LG Voyager has 2 screens 240 x 400 external touch screen and internal 400 x 240, versus Apple iPhone’s single display. Voyager’s touch screen even gives you vibration feedback.

Keyboard: LG Voyager has a full keypad for easy typing, versus Apple iPhone’s awkward virtual keyboard

GPS: LG Voyager has a built-in GPS that can give you turn by turn directions and point you to the nearest restaurant of your choice, while Apple iPhone doesn’t have this option…

Data Rate: LG Voyager supports 1xEVDO Rev0, which can download data at maximum theoretical rate of 2.4Mbps, or more practically around 600 - 800Kbps, versus Apple iPhone’s slow EDGE technology

MobileTV: LG Voyager supports mobileTV while Apple iPhone doesn’t have this at all

Removable Memory: LG Voyager has removable MicroSD slot where it can support up to 8GB card, versus Apple iPhone’s fixed memory. With Voyager, you can carry additional card for additional storage.

Overall Winner: Nokia N96
Personally I think that all apple products suck!!!!!

Symbian is being used in 2/3 of all the smartphone out there so it gets some credit.

Nokia also offers their own digital map from Navteq, which they own.

Pricing is debatable. iPhone makes you sign up for 2 years of contract and $30/month extra for the data plan is a must. That by itself is costing the user extra $720. You can buy a unlocked N96 for less than that and use it on any network with no contract.

MY VERDICT!!!

N96 better than iphone…
Iphone better than N96…

I think it doesnt matter since the N96 has not been released yet…

And there is not real comparasion until both are test.

If you ask to yourself…
is going to exist a real iphone killer?

The answer will be yes…
but is not going to be so popular as iphone.

Open your mind just try to be different.
Dare to be different.

Verdict

OpenOffice.org 2 is the result of over twenty years' software engineering. Designed from the start as a single piece of software, it has a consistency other products cannot match. A completely open development process means that anyone can report bugs, request new features, or enhance the software.

The result: OpenOffice.org 2 does everything you want your office software to do, the way you want it to.

OpenOffice.org 2 is easy to learn, and if you're already using another office software package, you'll take to OpenOffice.org 2 straight away. Our world-wide native-language community means that OpenOffice.org 2 is probably available and supported in your own language. And if you already have files from another office package - OpenOffice.org 2 will probably read them with no difficulty.

Best of all, OpenOffice.org 2 can be downloaded and used entirely free of any licence fees. OpenOffice.org 2 is released under the LGPL licence. This means you may use it for any purpose - domestic, commercial, educational, public administration. You may install it on as many computers as you like. You may make copies and give them away to family, friends, students, employees - anyone you like.
